This Workshop by AGRAGAMI APPLIED AERONAUTICS gives opportunity to understand the theory behind the functioning of aircraft and aircraft design. It makes you innovate by coming up with your own design of different RC aircrafts and fabricate them from scratch. An interactive lecture session and design session will guide you how to conceptually develop an aircraft & how to apply different type of aerodynamic, structural feature on to it.

RC Aircraft workshop

The RC Aircraft Design, Fabrication and Flying is an aeromodelling workshop that helps participants learn about the dynamics and design of an airplane. This workshop on aeromodelling would introduce the participants to the four pillars of Aerospace Engineering - Aerodynamics, Flight Mechanics, Aircraft Propulsion and Structures, with stress on the first two topics. It makes you innovate by coming up with your own design of mini aircrafts and fabricating them as per your design. Aeromodelling is a very interesting and fun manner to learn the complex theory behind aircrafts. In this workshop, basics of electronics relevant to RC aeromodelling (radio controls, servo motors) and i.c engine/electric motor would also be covered. This workshop takes you through a series of interactive lectures and design sessions supplemented by practical sessions, thereby providing a complete learning experience.

WORKSHOP STRUCTURE

  • 1st day morning session will be a theory class where students will be taught fundamental things of aeronautics like: what is an aircraft, what are the forces acting upon it due to aerodynamics and structural vibration, how to decide your design parameters and their tricks.
  • 1st day afternoon session will be a practical period where teams will be given certain calculative formulas and the raw materials for building the components of an aircraft.
  • 2nd day morning session will be spent on the job left in the previous class and finally assembling all the parts into a single structure and installing all electronics.
  • 2nd day afternoon session will be given for testing the electronics and vibrational issues associated with the model aircraft, then after rectification they will be ready to have their first flight.

AAA is providing workshop program containing fixed wing aircrafts, qudcopters, unpowered glider and hovercraft.Workshop for robotics program includes line follower robot, obstacle detection robot and ground surveillance robot.

Multi Copter Workshop

Multi-copter are best to known as VTOL rotor crafts which have more than one rotor compare to normal helicopter, usually suitable for both Indore and outdoor flying. These are very famous for aerial photography and cinematography carrying on-board camera and pan tilt to capture the best aerial photos and videos. So if you really want to experience the flying and to learn the construction of multi copters then it's time to take a workshop in multi-copter.

These crafts have very wonderful experience in the field of aerial surveillance ,disaster management , geological mapping , forest monitoring ,wild life photography , urban planning , real-estate, documentary move making etc .Now a day's many universities are working on fully autonomous quad copter as using swarm technology distributing the work between a bunch of flying machines which perform the mission by sharing their information in between them, even very complex man oeuvres are, carried by leaser optics, used for signal processing or transfer of the commands to the flying machines. There are various levels of vehicle system designs.

The main part of the workshop is to give the student a hands on experience of flight controller, flight software, controlling multiple motors at a time , 3-axies gyroscope , accelerometer , magnetometer, installing flight algorithm , stick calibration , tuning the vehicle, installation of receiver, installing power channel connection, flight mode setups, distribution board & power harnessing wires.

The students are going to assemble the aero frame of the copter and install the entire electronics component in the air frame including the flight controller. So it will help them to understand sophisticated unmanned flying vehicles. It will give them a very good exposure to unmanned industry.

Course on glider making

Glider is an un powered flying vehicle. Its wing generates both thrust and lift to make itself airworthy. Glider is the ideal platform to understand the precise low speed aerodynamics how it works on other flying vehicles. It will give you experience to get the practical knowledge of the basic flight mechanics principle.

Design & fabrication of a glider gives you to understand the basic idea behind flight & significance of various parts of aircraft.

The workshop helps the participants to understand aerodynamics, flight control, mechanics, and stability in the simplest manner. This will help the participant understand the basic principles of flight.

WATER ROCKET

This is very interesting and amazing thing to learn. Very much fun and lots to learn by doing so. As we know big rockets are been use these days for carrying satellite and things to space. Similarly here you will get an idea of the principle of that rocketry at very basic level. By using air and water as propellent how we can give a launch or provide thrust to bottle rocket to propel towards the sky. Water rocket ia a mechanism where water is pressurized with the help of air and then release to give an upward impulsive force to propel it. This is very interesting and knowledgeable thing and we can find the ways of its use in different purposes. So this is a exposure for you to learn about water rocket and develop it further and know further use of water rocket in different purposes.
